Want to take your first step toward a research career and learn how to turn a lab idea into a startup?
Join the Program for the Support of Student and Academic Scientific-Innovation Projects and Startups to gain hands-on experience in developing innovative solutions, enhancing market competencies, and preparing your scientific and technical projects for implementation.
The program is designed for students, PhD candidates, and young researchers.
It consists of two stages:
Ideathon, where you can join research or startup teams, or strengthen your own team with scientific expertise;
Mentorship Support Program, including innovation management and business model training, expert consultations, and organizational and technical assistance.
This is your chance if you:
work in Deep Tech innovation but don’t know how to bring it to market;
aim to improve your project’s market readiness;
want to expand your team and scientific expertise;
seek to confidently communicate with investors and partners;
are ready to take part in an international startup competition.
What to expect:
10 weeks of online training in innovation management and entrepreneurship;
weekly teamwork (2–5 people per team);
1-hour mentoring sessions with innovation experts;
guidance from KAU professors, NAS of Ukraine researchers, and high-tech industry experts.
You should apply if you:
work on DeepTech innovations but lack market-entry experience;
want to develop your project’s commercialization potential;
aim to communicate effectively with investors and partners to attract funding;
want to test your skills in an international startup competition.
During the Program, participants will:
work on applied research challenges with experienced scientists;
create prototypes and prepare pitch presentations;
develop business models and learn to present ideas to investors;
receive guidance from Ukrainian and European mentors.
Upon completion, you will gain:
experience in developing innovative scientific and technical products;
practical knowledge in innovation management and commercialization;
a pitch presentation for attracting investors;
a certificate of completion;
financial support for winning teams;
opportunities to continue your project through international educational and grant programs.
